420 WA bull

Just heard a rumor about a monster bull killed in Central WA. Rough score around 420". Also heard of a 7 x 8 taken that will score around 390. Any of you fellas over there heard anything?

That bull is pretty popular talk around central Wa. He was shot with a bow last year on a special drawing in one of my favorite deer hunting areas. I've seen pictures of the elk and it green scored 420 and change (which I think would make it #1 Pope and Young) but was beat by someone in New Mexico? two weeks later. Pretty impressive bull , however I saw a bigger one in the same area last year. I've been applying for 11 years for the unit and haven't been drawn( a unit that could withstand much more branch antler tags than the wdfw currently issues). Hope that helps w/o making anyone mad.

I know exactly what bull you're talking about. Friend of mine works with the guy's wife that took that bull.
The bulls that I am hearing of were killed within the last week and a half during a muzzleload hunt. (permit area, of course)
