Africa Hollywood Videos

With my current obsession of hunting Africa, I have found myself reading Capstick's "Death in the Long Grass" and searching the video store for Africa Videos, not so much hunting videos but for Hollywood type videos set in Africa. I have watched "Ghost in the Darkness" (AWESOME), "Out of Africa", "Zulu", "Tembo", and I just put in "Four Feathers". Anyone know of any other Africa Movies?

WB, I saw the original "Hunt for King Solomon's Mine" (?) with Stewart Grainger a couple of weeks ago. Great footage of wildlife and a good plot. Check it out. John

Jungle to Jungle with Tim Allen. The kid can shoot a fly with a blow gun! Lion King, shows the struggles of a young lion plauged by his own fathers death and his journey back to the top. Tarzan, a man tries to find his own idenity deep in the African jungle. Those are just a few off the top of my head, but anyone with kids should be able to provide more. LOL

all them old tarzan and jungle jim movies. especially with johny weissmuller. wasn't there a 3 stooges meets tarzan movie? if there wernt, there shoulda been.

Ben, if you liked "Long Grass" you should read "Death in the Silent places". Also try anything by Wilbur Smith. He writes good African adventure novels. There's also books by Karamojo Bell, CH Stigand, Fredrick Selous and a host of others.

Also, rent "In The Blood" you'll like that one.
