Heading to Dutton with my son to pursue him his first cow elk. I was wondering if anyone could help me out with any winter areas the elk tend to favor on this mountain. Also hows the weather down there and what should we expect.

Thanks for any help!

There is a dirt road about 12 miles south of Antimony that is named Deer Creek, take your 4-wheeler all the way to the end of that road. You should have no prolbem killing a cow elk down there in the cedars.

You're going to be at about 7500 to 8000 feet, so it's going to be cold. A lot of people think it's going to be nice and warm in Southern Utah, but that area is going to be fairly cold. Good luck, get him hooked early!
