Anyone hunt CO unit 76 this year??

I know its kind of early to be thinking about '05 but I guess its better to get started earlier than later. Me and my dad are considering using our points(we have 7 as a non res) for a hunt in 76 this coming year. I looked at the CO stats and it looks like we might have a chance to get in for 2nd or 3rd season. I've also done a search on this site and read all the info there. From what I've read I understand there all alot of small to medium sized bulls and the terrain is very steep and high in elevation. We would like to do it ourselves but might consider a drop camp if needed. We are not trophy hunters but we would like to have a good quality hunt with a good chance of both of us getting decent bulls. Are horses needed to hunt this unit?(we don't have any) Will all the elk be "holed up" in the 2nd or 3rd season like the general units we usually hunt?
