LAST EDITED ON Dec-30-04 AT 10:51PM (MST)[p]My wife Susan killed her first Cow Elk today. She hit it at 150 yards on the run. Using my 264 Win Mag 140 grain XLC ahead of 65 grains of IMR 7828. Sure was proud of her, took alot of pictures. So as soon as I get them back i will post them. This is been a good year for me. My son got his cow and now my wife got hers. The hunting is excellent especially when you get to see you family hunt.

It is not what you use, but where you hit em.

Congratulations. I got to share the same excitement this year. Nothing beats it, except maybe for a couple of booner non typicals, or something like that. nahhhhhhh, nothing beats it.

Congratulations to your wife. Wow, the whole family gets in on the action! Plenty of meat for all year for sure! Can't wait for the pics.

JSalas,

I lived on the corner of 8N and County Line, worked for a company called Agro Engineering which is a ag conuslting company. It was a good summer job, I learned a lot and I also enjoyed living in the valley. I did go to the El Centro Bar a bit on Saturday nights.
