Probably a stupid question but is it possible to draw (nonres) in any of the units with 1 point? Had AR301 two years ago so my points are gone. Thanks in advance and happy new year!

Yes it is possible, but not likely. My brother drew a Once in a lifetime permit with no points several years ago. Good luck.

How can your points be gone? I didn't think bonus points/waiting periods where a factor in the AR301 hunts?

OH, I had just assumed they were used up. I didn't have my application yet when I asked but I'll check it out later today. Points are normally listed somewhere on there if I remember correctly.

As mentioned you should not have lost points on the 301.
If you do have 1 point, well, that is a tough mountain to climb, but it does happen. Close your eyes, put in, and open them in April. Maybe the draw gods will smile on you. Who knows. It happens every year.
I have 12 and do not feel real confident once again. It kind of does that to you 23 years later.
