2B Archery Tag

hey guys..drew a Unit 2B archery tag for september 1-22..i never hunted this unit that early..can anybody give me some information if there are still any good bucks in the area this time of the year?? thanks..

its gonna be Hot! The country is pretty open so gettin close is tough. Find some water that being used and hunt it in the evenings. Your probably not gonna see large numbers of deer but there are some toads in there. Watch the tops of the mesas and the dark side hills. let me know if I can help

I'd try to find deer corridors up near the Rosa. They may be watering along the river. Call the G&F office and ask to speak to the game warden , they'll help line you out to find the Rosa....

Rosa is bad - no deer there yet.

Go north up on the Jic line. Will have to compete with the elk hunters for the water holes.

Yes there are some big deer. The elk hunters will be all over you.

Along the river that splits 2B and 2A would be good. However only a couple of public areas - lots and lots of private.

There are lots of guzzlers and solar pumps in the middle mesa - bancos area - behind the locked gates that would offer some good spots.
