went out this am with my son....he said i had to go to a new area and find some new bulls...we tried..

look how small the body is on the young bull, compared to the other two...

the end...

by the way, there were 18 bulls in that one bunch....have a good week-end.

Thanks for posting the pics! I could only wish to have the opportunity to be with so many bulls for so many times. I'm sure you are quite proficient and quickly field judging the biggest bulls in a herd. With all the commotion and movement, I only get dazed and overly excited. I usually scan for a large bull and then my eyes can't get off of him to even see if there are other bigger ones.

Awsome pictures as always.

Do you know if there are many bulls still in the feed lots on the eastside. Or have they moved back up into the hills with the lack of snow. I bring my daughter over every year to see the elk but if the are gone I might skip it this year.

I might be over in that area this week to help a friend get a cow elk.

Good lookin' bunch of pictures. Looks a couple dandy's in there as well. I found a group last weekend of a couple decent bulls. I'm going to head out Sunday to check on them again....WITH my camera this time. I'll post as soon as I get a chance to. Thanks for sharing. Every little bit helps get through the offseason.

'craig', haven't been, but i hear there are still lots of bulls at the feed stations....luck with the cow..

'aq'...i'm not even sure i'll be out 'sheddin' this year. have more fun just watchin'em. love findin' and shootin' pics of'em with new growth...we'll see...
