We are having a great wet year The game and fish has put together a good strategy, Arizona is going to be great as well {but VERY expensive}. For your money go New Mexico it is still raining, and you know what that means! Records are going to Fall.

We did not draw an elk tag. Recent changes include antler point restictions in various zones. Arizona will be interesting this year.

I don't know what everybody's talking about. There hasn't been rain in years. There is nothing to hunt here in NM, so everybody should save their money and not even bother putting in for the draw. ;-)

All the elk are in Texas and you can get a tag over the counter...maybe I can get a tag in New Mexico

I agree with Taxi. The deer and elk are all sickly and hungry. I wouldnt waste a dollar in that poor dust bowl state
