NM elk..draw question

I have a question that maybe someone can help me out. Myself and my wife have both put in for elk this year. The problem is that our jobs are taking us to prescott AZ in a month or so. Well it takes 6 months to become a resident of AZ so technically I am still a resident of NM when the results come in for NM. Will I still be able to hunt elk in NM. I spoke with the Game and Fish and they have said I can but has anybody heard anything else? thanks nmhs

yeah you should be able to get through that loop hole one last time and you better too seeing the out of state expense go up and up make one last go of it good luck.
