My South Africa hunt pics

I'll add a story later this week, but all in all I had an absolutely fantastic time. I ended up with trophies that surpassed anything I was hoping for.

The Kudu ended up at 58", and the bushbuck is 17 1/2"... My wifes wildebeest is a very nice bull as well... 28-1/2 wide... The rest are all very nice trophies and I'm extatic about them as well, even if I don't look so in the pig picture... It was pitch black out by the time we got the cameras, and there was three people taking pictures I didn't know when to smile or not...

I have a better one or 5 but not with me today...

I still can't believe that I made it over there!!!

Ivan: Gorgeous animals, and great pics. Saw them on AR and was pleasantly surprised to see them here. We have 3 of mine mounted so far, and 5 more to go. My son's stuff from his trip to Namibia in June should be shipped the end of the month.

Now I need to figure out how to keep the wife working for another 2 years, so I can go back for bushbuck, reedbuck, and probably a couple nyala. Watch out Reno SCI!

Thanks for the kind words guys! I'm still realing from the experience! I'm about half done with the story and will post it later this week.

I was really surpised by the size of the kudu as well. I would say that his body was close to the size of a big mature bull elk, maybe bigger. He was much bigger than any of the bulls I've killed thats for sure.

I found the hat in a dumpster in africa. I needed a camo hat and it had to make due. Lets just say the points will be worth more than most teams totals will be...

Congrats on a get away of a lifetime . Those are some great pics , love Africa . How long is your gemsbok ? I killed one in 02 here at White Sands in NM that is 37 and 38 inches , but hope to travel to Africa for a 40+ . Thanks for sharing . The gems bull is 34 1/2 and 35" with 7-3/4" bases... Not a monster, but I'm tickled with him.

I hunted with Samaria Safaris in South Africa. I booked it myself.
