AZ Saddle Mtn Wilderness Elk?

Do elk inhabit or migrate thru or into the Saddle Mtn Wilds?? I have a bet with a buddy that seems to know everything and I'am betting that I will be the winner in this bet. Anyone out their with extensive knowledge have an answer for us. Thanks

There are elk in Kaibab and it's possible that they may have been down around the Saddle Mountain area seeing as how a buddy of mine saw a bunch on his buffalo hunt on the House Rock. I doubt they migrate throught there though. Usually they are higher up on the plateau.

I have seen them on Cooper's Ridge and on a couple tanks down around Sowatts.I hunt lions on house rock and have not seen them ,but they would have to leave the top just like the deer in the deep snow?I have seen them on the winter road last dec.I would bet at least a couple have been in the saddle mnts wilderness as water always flows in the norht caynon.
