What kind of elk quality is on the Beaver unit in Utah? What is the terrain like? Is it a fairly easy hunt of do you have to walk or horseback in to see some nice bulls? Is a 350 bull unreasonable with a little hard work?

There is a lot of elk on on the Beaver, I think the hard part is getting a tag. Big bulls are killed there each season, Try looking up some guys by the name Pearson around Circleville They are some pretty good guides.

If you don't know the country, it could be tough to kill a 350 bull. They are killing good bulls off this unit, but most are locals that know the country well.

Any LE unit in Utah is going to produce 350 Bulls you just need to no the area you are hunting and hunt it!

As far as the terrain goes the top/backbone of this unit is above tree-line & with a few exceptions hard to access by vehicle, so horses would come in handy, but are not necessary to get into good remote hunting spots, unlike its neighbor to the east "Monroe" there are "honey holes" to be found away from roads or 4 wheeler trails on this mountain.
My question is did you put in for this unit & if so which hunt ?
