I got a hit on mine last week on the 14th and didn't notice it until today. I'm going nuts since it's either SW Desert or Panguitch and both early rifle. Anyone get a letter yet in the mail?

Which unit was your first choice this will be the hunt you drew.Your second choice wont draw in this state for Elk limited entry.
Good luck on your hunt both units should hold some true monster elk.And to answer your question about the letters I dont think anyone has seen a letter yet. Look around the 28-29 for the letter you might get a e-mail from the dwr before these dates.

I was so excited earlier about my tag I couldn't remember my login password since we got a new computer last month so I had to re-registered as birdhntr. Your right about the first choice thing which I didn't think about. Based on that I just basically won the lottery since I should have the SW Desert non-resident tag as I now live in Idaho. When I lived in Nevada I drew an early muzzlerloader tag in Unit 23 which is adjacent to SW Desert so I'm pretty excited right now.
