Monroe Mt. Elk, Two Tags

Yes, two tags on the Monroe. My brother drew muzzleloader elk, and his brother-inlaw drew any weapon elk. I think I'm as excited as they are. We have hunted togather for 20+ years, and most of them on The Monroe. I can't think of a better place to be, hunting, or not. They should be some great hunts with the any weapon in the middle of the rut, and the muzzleloader at the tail end. I have been a long time reader of monstermuleys, but first time to post a message. I just had to tell everyone of thier Luck!! I think it's going to be along summer with many trips to Monroe.

Congrads on the tag. I guess u haven't heard. I hate to break it to ya. Save yourself the trouble of going. Or the extra trips. All the elk on Monroe Mt died last week. So tell your buddies to redeem their tag. And D.W.R canceled the hunt. Rut said it would be ok to turn the tags back in.
