Chalk Creek Private land for elk

I didn't get my limited entry elk tag for Utah AGAIN. So I decided to pay for a private land hunt. I don't want to fight for that secluded spot in the Uintas like everyone else, or do another spike hunt just to see a trophy bull elk in the wild. I have 9 points and I don't mind waiting for that certain limited entry tag. I was hoping for information on the the private ranches up Chalk Creek Canyon specificly the South Fork Ranch. All I'm looking for is a good decent bull, it doesn't need to be 380 class bull but at least a 5x6 or 6x6 in the 300 range. If you know this area please give me a ring.

i use to work on the gillmor ranch that is one of the landowners in the southfork area. i worked on this ranch for about 6 years. there is a lot of elk in this area if you are not one of those sportsmans that ride around on their 4-wheeler hoping that one runs them over on the road. there are not many people out there that know that area as well as i. the biggest bull i ever took off of the property was 320 bull. now im not saying that i am the best hunter in the world but there are not many bulls that i personally seen or that i have heard about that are much bigger. if you want to take a 5*5 or a smaller 6*6 it is not a bad place. i hope that i helped you

I would like to get in on a decent elk or deer hunt, What did you pay for the hunt and is there a chance a guy might be able to purchase a tag to hunt. I will hunt and walk, not just ride the damn bike around, I am willing to pay for a decent hunt and have a good time than get pissed and have some delbert run things off and ruin the whole hunt. Thanks you all for replying, I did talk with Justin Richens and he gave me a lot of great information. I will be off of the 4 wheeler and hiking everywhere I can.
