made two trips to the hill today...first one on the 4-wheeler and on foot, then went back this afternoon for a load of logs..a lot of 'new' bulls have moved into 'our' area. didn't see any of our 'old friends', but hey, i'm always willing to make new ones...these fellows were all from this morning..
these next ones were in a different area...they were in the 'thick stuff', so i left them alone and didn't go after'em. there are gonna be some serious bulls here...
told ya i went back for wood....
a little more to the story.....as i was going closing the gate at the hiway where i come out from getting my wood, an 'un-marked state patrol car' pulled up next to me...this fellow gets out and says, "you're 'littlefoot', aren't you?" i was taken back, to say the least...i admitted my guilt, and he introduced himself, and proceeded to tell me he was a MM member and had admired my pics and all...he recognized my truck, and just wanted to say 'hi'...he was from a different area, but was just passing through. we talked hunting, of course, for a bit and he told me he was an 'archery hunter'...in spite of that, he was still a nice fellow.....was a pleasure to meet you 'Grant', and thanks for stopping...this site never ceases to amaze me...i have met some swell folks through here....just thought i'd pass that along
