Valle Vidal Youth Hunt

Anyone ever drew this ES hunt? I put both kids in for it and saw last year there were zero non-resident non-guided apps. With 20 tags available this year and us in the 10% group the odds seem pretty good to draw. Just wondering what a youth hunt in the 1st part of October would be like.

I think the VV youth hunt last year was only for antlerless elk and not ES as is shown this year. I would bet the odds will get a LOT tougher this year.

Should be an awesome hunt even though the rut will be over for the most part.

Good luck in the drawing! I hope your kids draw the tags. At least that way I won't have to worry about getting divorced when I have to pull my son out of school for the trip to NM...............

That brings up the talley to 5 youth applicants. Friend of mine put his two daughters in also.
