LAST EDITED ON May-27-05 AT 11:48AM (MST)[p]Yesterday I left at 5:00 a.m. and drove from Glasgow to Miles City and then back through Jordan, Across Fred Robinson Bridge to Malta and back to Glasgow. I am telling you that the Breaks are so green right now it is UNBELIEVABLE.

If they can keep getting some moisture through out June and some in July it will be a great year. I took a ton of pics and will get up as soon as I get hosted. It is as green around Miles City as I have seen in the past 8 years.

I saw tons of antelope, deer, birds and even a couple of cow elk with calves.

Just thought I would give you guys a heads up.

Its the same over here by Missoula, beautiful. Hope we don't get wiped out by fire this summer.

LAST EDITED ON May-28-05 AT 01:04AM (MST)[p]Thanks for the update. I'll be over again this year & hunting somewhere between Jordan & Circle. Also thank you for your help last year I got a nice heavy 3x3 & met some extremely helpful & friendly locals. It's a totally a different hunting environment compared to the jungles of Western Wa I am used to.

That's great news NeMont. I was kind of worried after our odd winter. The Bitteroot looks like Ireland right now. Hope I draw for the Breaks again. Last year was one of the best experiences in hunting I ever had. Looking forward to your pics. mtmuley

Thats totally some of the best news I have heard for that area. I have hunted there aprox.8 out of the last 10 years. Its potential would be gratifing to say the least. One of the ranchs I hunt couldn't even irrigate hay fields because the river is so low on water. Keep us informed would you, and thanks for the info. ###~~~~~~~~~~~~~~> MMEYER
