This is a bull a friend of mine was lucky enough to take with
his bow. I am not going to mention any scores because the last
time I did that It got everbody all worked up. So enjoy.

Wasn't this bull taken two yeas ago up near the Bob Marshall Wilderness. I think there was some other controversy from the Montana boys about people menetioning where it came from

As I recall, it was in the 408 range and what a dandy at that.

The only question I have is, where's his smile? I'd be grinning ear to ear after shooting a monster like that.

I dream every night about shooting an elk like that. Maybe some day I will get lucky and at least see one alive that big, hopefully within 300 yards with a gun in hand (and tag of course). Great elk tell your buddy congratulations.

Thatis another huge MONSTER bull elk. I remember when he shot that bull and saw the articles in eastmans!! Bearpaw Mountains!!!! MONTANA!!! ANother 400+ bull!!

If I remember correctly, the only one that got worked up about scores said FAREWELL. You can go ahead and post the score. The pictures are a lot more descriptive than the other post they were on and these are better angles. It's obvious this pig is over 400 inches.

That was taken over by Havre, if I remember correctly, off of his own ranch. We don't have any elk anywhere near that size over here around the Bob. Be lucky to find a 250 bull over here. Rains here all the time to. Brush so thick you cant poke an arrow into it. Grizzly bears everywhere. Elk wont bugle. Mosquitoes that "I belive" migrate down from Alaska. We have 2 kinds of skeeters here, the ones that fly right through the little holes in the screendoor screen, and the ones that just stop and open it. Yup, one of these years I'm going to have to take a trip somewhere to try to score a trophy 280-290 class bull.
