My brother was lucky enough to draw a North Cache Elk Muzzle tag. I am trying to do some leg work for him and was wondering if anyone has some suggestions as to what areas in this unit would be good to hunt? Thanks!

LAST EDITED ON Jun-03-05 AT 08:09PM (MST)[p]Had a Archery Elk Tag last year on the North Cache and it was the hardest hunt that i have ever been on, but i did finally kill a 6x6 on the 14th day.I hunted many different areas, Blind Hollow,Bear Hollow,Crab Ridge,Peterson Hollow and many more.I suggest going to the Utah and Idaho Map World store and get some good topo maps.If you want more detailed information send me a private message and i will give you my phone number.

Listen to saxon I did some leg work for him last year and seen quite a few bulls. North cache is a hard unit to hunt it is thick and in some spots just plain nasty. Try Bubble springs out if you need more info on this area PM me or just email me at [email protected] I seen some nice bulls in this area as well as swan flat where a 400 inch bull was taken during the LE rifle hunt last year probably seen the pics posted on here.
