Pack Frames

I am 5'10", and about 160 lbs. As I will strictly be hunting by foot I need a good pack that will allow me to carry out the meat, assuming I get one. I am on a budget and would appreciate any recommendations for pack frames. Thanks.

I use a Dwight Shuh pack because I wear it all day as I hunt from place to place and always have what I need with me. It is large enough to haul my gear, fits me(6'3" 220lbs) and I can take the bag off and strap on the game bags to haul back to the truck. Bite the bullet and buy a good pack that fits you. Or drop by any surplus store and pick up an "alice" pack, they will haul more than you could possibly carry and are fairly comfortable...

do a search for the eberlestock "just one" pack. it has been discussed several times here. by for the most comfortable pack i have owned. good for a day hunt or extended stay which ever you need and will hall meat as well.

The Cabelas outfitter pack frame works cherry for me. Just throw my fanny pack on it with game bag and rope. They are less than $100
