Leica warranty stinks update.

After talking to leica warranty dept and not getting any response from them. i called Cabelas back and they said to send it back to them and they would send me a new one. They oviously have alittle more pull than a single consumer.My hats of to Cabelas for taking care of it even though it was a month past Cabelas warranty. now i am going to sell it and buy a Swarovski they are water proof instead of resistent.
 
I will never buy anthing highend from anyone except cabelas. I bought a alaskan guide scope and in one year it was coming apart. sent it back in and they replaced it. I used my second alaskan guide scope for almost 2 years and than it fell apart and so I sent it back and got a gift certificate which I just put towards a 80 mm swarovski spotting scope. I hope I'll never have to buy another one. I hear swarovskis' warranty is second to none.

cabinfever, I think you are gonna like that swarovski spotter. Not only is the warranty second to none but so is the quality.

I have to jump in and say that Cabela's is awesome for taking their products back. I bought their brand of boots and the seems started to come apart after one abusive season and they took them back and replaced them for nothing out of my pocket.
