Nevada Quality

Well I see all the tags getting tripled and such. Does anyone know exactly what the philosophy will be in Nevada the next few years? Was there a formal management plan laid out to manage for a specific younger bull age class or something, like Utah is doing?

I am curious how much the quality will be degraded.

BearBow the quality in Nevada has slowly been going downhill since about 2001, and I imagine it will keep going on that trend until the bull tags are cut back. The problem we have here is each county has an elk managment plan and there are certian herd sizes that have to maintained to keep the herd under the pre established cap. So until BLM and USFS start letting some fires burn and create some more forage the caps cannot be adjusted.
