Colorado Unit 76 Guides

I have an archery tag for elk in unit 76 and I would like some information on guides in that area. I would appreciate any positive or negative information you have. Also if you are willing to share any hunting information on unit 76, it would be very appreciated.

I film elk in unit 76 for the last 14 years. Just
got back today from moving some camps into the
backcountry. Saw 42 bulls this morning no cows.
Elk just starting to arrive in the high country
because of the amount of snow. Sam frazier I am
very familiar with and I highly recommend him.
Known him all 14 years in 76 and he has been

Have only spoken with Sammy over the phone but after years of following 76 (should draw bow tag next year) I can say is comes very highly reccomended by many.

I hunted the muzz season last year out of RC Guest Ranch on the highway 17 miles west of Creede..We went 2 for three on nice bulls just hunting from the truck on our own on National Forest Land south of the ranch... The owner, Ted Dooley, does drop camps and guided hunts also..I did not use his guide/outfitter services, but he seems honest and knowledgeable of the area...His phone # is 719 658-2253..
