There are lots of guys on this site that can help you out on your hunt but will usually you get a better response if it looks like you have at least took some initiative to do some of your own research.

After doing some research I decided to do a drop camp in the wilderness with Blaine Jackson from Cottonwood Ranch. He told me that he is guiding the Govenors elk tag in the Jarbidge. Must be some big bulls in there. E-mail me for more info. Ed F

I and a friend are going deer hunting with Blain Jackson in October. Seems like a solid outfitter.

Bowunter I have alredy been up to the Wilderness area 3 times this summer. I have many found many elk in the area. I have access to horses and mules if needed but I feel you can get into the area without. This won't help you to much since going with Blaine but I have twice saw 2 decent bucks up there. I've thought about using Blaine but at this time in my life don't feel it's necessary to do so. Thanks for the e-mail

Hey Jarbidge -- I know who you are!
I still can't get over the photos of the Bull you harvested last year in New Mexico -- WOW!!!
As you know, my wife had a tag near Jarbidge last year and we saw lots of quality bull in the Wildnerness area -- 280 to 330 bulls. I also know there are some High End bulls in the 350 plus range.
You've done alot for other hunters and I'll make sure you get lined out for your hunt (location, mules, etc).

This was early in the velvet and it didn't seem as though they had fully grown the forks. I was unable to send you a pm but you can email [email protected]. I will be back up there on July 23.
