A very good magazine to learn the art of taxidermy is Breakthrough. have you every thought about doing your own work this magazine has a lot to offer. How many of you out there always wanted to learn just?

have no experience with the mag but wish to recommend any and all young hunters try a mount or two as they develop as hunters and individual outdoorsman. Can be a great father-son-daughter project and is not all that expensive.

It's a very real sense of accomplishment to go full circle from scouting thru the finished memorial on the wall. Yes, the end result won't be as nice as a good pro's job but it will have been done by your own hands and is far easier on the budget. This mag may be a great place to start, i don't know...

sageadvice, On the website Taxidermy.net, if you click on Taxidermist, then on Forum and then on Tutorial, it will give you all the questions you may have and they have pics on the subjects of taxidermy usually step by step procedures.
