Monopods for 15x binos

I just got a pair of Leica Duovid 10+15's and was wondering if anyone has had any success just using a monopod instead of a tripod to use a higher power bino. The optics are good enough to hold steady if you have an elbow rest, but I have never been lucky enough to have that happen in the field. Thanks for any ideas.

Dont waste your money on a monopod, just use the barrell of your rifle. Been doing this for years just make sure its not loaded. You can do this sitting or standind just kind of jam the barrell between the barrells of your bino's, this works very well seated try it you will be amazed how much better you can glass. My dad showed me this trick many years ago.
