I was just out there yesterday and talk about a lot of country!!! I have a great friend that will be able to participate in the Rut Hunt do to his physical disability. And I am going to try my darndest to make it happen for him.
Anyone familiar with this area or have access to private land, where the elk seem to hole up during the rut, preferrably close to a 4 wheeler trail or road???
This hunt is an opportunity hopefully for him to take down a few of his wifes arts and crafts from the living room wall and hopefully put a branch antlered bull. Not to mention have the experience of a lifetime.
