Is this place for real? anyone bought from them? Their prices are unbelievable. I just want to make sure they are not grey market.

Yeah, I bought a pair of Leica Trinovid 10x32's from them about a month or so ago. Someone else on here posted the link and vouched for them. They shipped prompt and called me to verify my order. Some of their prices are great, some about the same as Cabelas.

One thing is that the price they showed on the Leicas was for Brazillian manufactured models which I don't believe it stated. When they called to verify though they asked which I wanted Brazillian or the German made. I chose the German which were a little more but still only paid $895 with the shipping. They're overcharging on the shipping but still a good price. I think the Cabelas price for those was around $1100 with free shipping.

Patience my @$$ I want to shoot somethin'...

I checked into these guys on their Swarovski items. There is not a warranty on the items from Swarovski because they were purchased in Europe and sent to the U.S. I asked for a serial number and then called Swarovski. They told me that they would repair the glasses at my expense plus shipping/handling even if they were brand new. Also, to be repaired they must be sent to Europe and the turn around time is 8-12 weeks. Swarovski expressed that I should buy from a licensed dealer or beware. Hotbuys was not on their list of licensend U.S. dealers.

Good point little Joe, I forgot to mention that... in my case I weighed the Leica's quality and toughness with the $200+ savings against the possibility of a future warranty claim and decided to pocket the $200+

I have puchased from them several times and they have been great to work with. I feel good when I get the best deal out there. Save the cash and do it.

You guys are crazy If I spent 900.00 or more on a pair of optics (which I have done many times alwready)and had no warranty thats not a good buy in any sense. Here's a perfect example I own a pair of 10\42 swarovski optics and on this last hunt they started falling apart now the optics are 10+ years old and have been lent out many times so they had their fair share of misstreatment I sent them in to swarovski and in a few weeks they sent me what I thought was a new pair of 10\42 but a closer look and they completely rebuilt mine including polishing the lenses all for FREE what else can you say about warranty I have practically a new pair what will they charge you when your's falls apart and you send them in ???
Save 200.00 now and you might pay a whole lot later.
