Arizona unit 7E scouting trip

I brought the family with me up scouting friday and saturday. Everything was so beautifull including the weather. Everyone else must have thought so too, as I could have seen less people at the county fair! Yeah I know archery season is on but wow!
I had hoped to be able to have my wife and youngest son hear elk bugle for the first time but the elk were not cooperative. On a side note there sure are lots of deer there but its a loooong ways from Bisbee.

what part of the unit were you in? what hunt? i have the october cow hunt.

I was mostly on the West side of the unit. We camped on forest service road 151. I mostly scouted this area. I climbed fern mountain on Saturday morning and glassed. We drove out F.S.418 and looked around, we got low on fuel and went back to Flag. Next we went out on the east side. We were near the junction of F.S.418 & 552 busy traffic there also. My 13 year old son will be hunting bull elk during the rifle season.
