I'm pretty sure he'll be there with you and watching over you. Good luck, be careful, and enjoy your memories and time outdoors. Maybe he'll even push a MonsterBlacktail your way! :)

well I gotta admitt I felt a little like a mother hen this morn, me and my son were sitting over looking a bench, and watching deer moving down at the bottom, when some guy came up from behind my son, I kept looking over at my boy and the guy to make sure nothing jumped up between them.

we had walkies but my son couldn't see the guy, that even made me more nervous, so we headed back down to lower ground and we'll just wait till the weather move's 'em down lower......seen one small buck......

Sorry to hear about your hunting partner. I am hunting with a muzzle loader this year to escape the other hunters. Good luck and I wish you the best. B_B

My sincere condolences. No words can replace your brother-in-law. It's not quite the same, but I lost my hunting mentor of 30 years due to sudden illness this year. Makes it even harder because he's my uncle...he taught me from the beginning.
Best of luck to you.
