A pretty good weekend

LAST EDITED ON Apr-14-03 AT 01:50PM (MST)[p]I got out and did some shed hunting over the weekend with a buddy. Between us we found 15 mule deer sheds, but some of them were pretty old. These are the ones we kept.

The really tiny one in the middle I brought back for my daughter. The other 2-pointers ended up under bushes.

i like the brown atypical shed in the upper right.

i'm still afraid to give my kiddos any bones with tines, but we do go in the backyard now and then and play "find the deer antlers". they love it, but it is impossible to stop them from running from one "hiding spot" to the next with an armload of bone. guess they'll have to learn the hard way eventually, but don't tell my wife i said that ;-)
