A buddy and myself currently have 3 points going into the '06 elk season in Colorado. We are wanting to come back out west in '06 for elk and deer and don't mind using the points up unless somebody has any other ideas for a FUN hunt where we dont need to use the points up. Seeing game and have fun is the most important to us. Harvesting one is just the icing on cake, but it would be nice after three years of bowhunting out there and being unsuccessful.
We are open to anything in the west as far as states go. And we can hunt anything early or late season. Anything around Nov 7-9 is out for us, my boys birthday. We have archery hunted alot and would possibly like a muzzleloader hunt sometime.
Like I said, we are open to any weapon as long as it is fun and seeing game. I would pay upto $3000 for a guided or semi-guided hunt to pack in.
