Im not gonna spread anything around the rumor mill, but there has been a big bull killed here in Montana that is going to raise some eyebrows, I dont know the facts yet, just know a couple of guys who have seen it. Should be an interesting story to come.

About 10 days ago a guy I know shot a bull that has a gross score of 408 and nets 394 1/8. Not sure if this is the bull your talking about. I have a picture on my phone, but I don't think I can get it uploaded. Anyway its a nice bull.

This wouldn't happen to be a bull with serious palmation that scored.....oh something like.....426 1/8 gross, 4032/8 net???? Would it?????

that is really just a 500lb propane tank with a hide draped over it. But rumor has it some guy poked a cuople holes in it and let out all his gas.. The guy is lucky it didnt explode when he shot it.

Yes, thats what i heard, not sure if its true but a good chance. more than likely we will not know exactly where, a guy would be a fool to say anyway. All i know it was killed for sure.

The elk I am talking about was killed in the Crazy Mts. I'll try to post a pic.

The story will be coming soon, that is why I am not going to say to much. The bull will be #2 or #3 typical in the state of MT. He is an 8X7 and is pretty unique. He is smaller than last year though, have been watching the bull for the past 5 years. And hunted him last year, had many close encounters but no luck, if he was harvested last year no doubt he would of been the new #1 typical elk in MT.
