LAST EDITED ON Sep-30-05 AT 09:35PM (MST)[p]I heard a rumor of a 400 class Bull taken in AZ with 67 or so inch beams. Wich if true is the new record for longest beams of any Bull ever recorded.. This is the year of the antler.

If pictures are posted is that a bad thing as far as missing out on anything? I know trophy hunter awards for storys are good
but they want the story first.

Thx

Currently the record for main beams is 66 inches. I havn't heard about this elk but that would be something if it's true.

By the way I asked one of the fellas on another thread, what the relative sizes were on this bull. He stated that the spread it 57" and has over 60" beams.

Truly an unbelievable bull to say the least!

Pete

LAST EDITED ON Oct-01-05 AT 08:38PM (MST)[p]No thats not the bull, its a monster for sure..

The bull I saw has 67 inch beams, and much more mass

that is not the bull.

I held the antlers that Pete posted.....an absolute HOG! Should easily surpass Chuck Adams' world record elk. Time will tell. Congrats to Shawn on a job well done.

I believe you might be talking about the bull shot in the 5A archery hunt. It scored 414 and I don't know if that was gross or net but either way was absolutely massive. Don't know if this is the one you are talking about.

No that isnt the Bull. the bull was taken in another unit, I finally saw the Bull its a typical bull. scored somewhere in the 400 range and had some unbelivable beam length and mass. 67 inch beams G1 -16
g2-19 g3-17 g4-23 g5-12 35 inches or so of circumfrence not sure of width

Really no point in hashing it out any further he has no intention of posting pictures on the internet at this time.
