any NM 52 reports?

Just wondering whats been taken in 52 in new mexico.
Any pics/stories? Going for first rifle on Saturday. Also, going nuts.

I been to 52 3 times since the restricted muzzle loader deer hunt started. Recently I seen about 4 to 5 camps setup off of forest road 83 close to the highway. All camps had no elk's hanging from what I seen. Antelope seem to be not so scared, but that's all I've seen with my eyes. Saw a small herd of elk's by the red dirt mine with my binaculars , but they look to be pretty smart. From what I been seeing, it looks like you guys with the 1st rifle elk hunt are gonna have to start moving some of the elk around. Because I didn't see it happening this past week.

I hunted down there with my dad. The elk were bugling pretty good and he got a solid 5x5. Great country for elk. We saw a decent number of elk. The only really good bull was on private land. Good luck.
