What single power eyepiece for spotting scope?

I have a 20x60 variable power but am thinking of also getting a fixed power eyepiece for my spotting scope. They say that there is a big differnce between a fixed and a variable "fixed being much better clearer and field of view"
I'm thinking of maybe a 24X or so, what is your favorite?

I cannot say the fixed is any clearer but my 20x has alot wider field of view.
