Idaho Unit 54

I have a friend that has an Elk Super Tag. She hunted the early hunt in the Owyhees and didn't find the caliber bull she was looking for. Now she wants to try her luck in Unit 54. Does anyone out there have any advice they could pass on regarding the elk in this unit. Where to start looking maybe? Thanks to everyone in advance for their replies!!

Its an absolete disaster on opening day because everyone that has a tag for that unit will be in the same place. I would recommend waiting for a week or so into the hunt, Good luck. Ps i had this tag two years ago and may be able to point you in a different "better direction" let me know and maybe I can help.
