I just got a email of a bull they claim to score 502 could some one help me post the pics.

In conversartion the other day with another hunter he threw out a possible senario for a huge bull being taken on private low fenced land:
Rancher buys huge bull from elk farm for several thousand dollars and lets him loose on his place that is teeming with cow elk probably close to the rut. Next day hunter shows up and pays even more thousands of dollars to go hunting on the private ranch land. While out hunting the ranch, they find a large group of cow elk with a huge bull herding them around. Hunter kills huge elk and back slapping and grab and grin photos ensue. Hunter doesn't have a clue that the elk was behind high fence less than 24 hours ago. Thinks he just made B&C book.
I'm not saying that this is going on. Just food for thought.
Huge bulls taken on public land with or without limited entry tags probably all legit.

Fenced elk can't be let loose legally.

I am not 100% sure, but i think that pen raised elk must have an ear tag for identification purposes. If so, there would be a hole in one ear.
