Wasatch Unit - Bountiful/North Salt Lake???

Has anybody hunted this area? I know that much of the lower area is all private, but once on top, there is quite a lot of public ground to hunt and a good portion towards Morgan. We spent a lot of time in PArley's Canyon this wekend and only saw Moose and Deer. Where are all the elk?

I've lived in South Davis County most of my life and hiked these hills allot. I know there are some elk up there but not very many. The only elk I personally have ever seen was during the winter of 2002. I have crossed their tracks while hiking or hunting, but thats been only a few sets. Be carefull how far down the mountain you go on the Morgan side, that is all private, including a CWMU. I've seen by far more elk on the North side of Parleys canyon than in South Davis County.

A good portion towards Morgan is not the case. With the exception of one section just north of the towers, almost everything that drains towards the Morgan valley is private

I also know that area the boys are right. I have seen one elk heard near the towers years back. You will find them on the private side. But I wouldn't bet on it. Go back to Parleys or the head of Emigraiton.
