Beauties!

I don't understand why some people ruin the capes. If you don't use them for your own shoulder mount, you can still get $30 to $50 for them from a taxidermist.

CHA-CHING!

HOLEY MOLEY!!

Man did you guys tie em up in August or what?!!

Sounds like the hunt of a lifetime!

Much congrats to all of you!

Thanks kilowatt, I wasnt sure if you were back from your hunt yet.

Anyway I shot my bull opening mornin. I had watched my bull most of the summer but lost him about the week before season. I still decided to go after him and see if I could find him early. I found his cows and soon after he came over the ridge at 521 yards and I waited for him to get closer. As I was laying there it was quite evident they werent gonna get much closer. I was deciding what to do as Great Bugle interrupted my thought and he came charging down the hill after a cow. At 405 yards away he turned quartering away from me. I dialed in my scope and let the 150 grain bullet rip, he never knew what hit him. This is my first big bull and I was pumped to say the least.

I just got word the biggest 6x6 scored a hair over 340 gross green. This was also the best hunting season we have had as a family and there was a bigger one we just couldnt sem to find again. Anyway enjoy the pictures and have a great hunting season!

As far as the capes, I just found out from taxidermist that if I save the cape and dont want a neck mount he will do a european mount for free!!!! You can bet I will be saving all my capes from hear on out!

Man what a slaughter....congrats to you guys and you on your first Bull....that's a good start!

congrats man, ...Awesome !!! we hunted the cascade elk season didn't see a cow...next year....

Nice bunch of bulls especially out of the heppener unit. It appears they were taken near the foothills. I saw some good looking bulls checking crp up out of Gurdane up in the timber just curious if that is general area they came out of. They nice ones cool pics.

Well further to the east than gurdane road, but where the mountains break into foothills.
