I got a pair of Swarovski 10x32's for christmas. I have a pair of 10x42's and 15x56's and a spotting scope. I have three sons so we need to have the binos. The question I have is have any of you looked at the 10x32's? What do you think? I am thinking about getting another pair of 10x42's. Should I keep the 10x32's for something a little different? i like the size and I do alot of elk hunting. What do you think?

Since you have both the 10 x 42's and 32's you may want to take them out and compare them side-by-side? I believe you'll have better field of view through the 42's (wider view at long distance) and in low light conditions the 42's will be somewhat brighter? Also, the view through the 32 eye-piece is relatively small compared to your 42s. I'm not sure I'd want to look through such a small eye-piece for hours at a time?

Although the 32's are smaller and lighter in weight my preference would be the 10x42s!

Thanks for your reply. Thats is what I am thinking. I have looked at them in low light side by side and I cant see alot of difference. The 42's feel a little better to me though.

It is not so much as being able to afford them. I have been frugal with my money and hunting is a priority. And I have 3 sons and I want each of them to have a good pair of glasses, Since I have gotten them our hunting success has gone up. But I appreciate the info. I was just wondering what anyone thought about the 42'2 vs the 32's.
