Amazing Bull

LAST EDITED ON Jan-28-06 AT 10:13AM (MST)[p]Here is a picture of a bull killed in Washington this year. Rumor has it that it green scored 945 3/8 B & C. They had to bring in a D9 dozer to drag it out of the woods. He donated the meat to the Boy Scouts and they expect it should feed the nations scouts for the next 3 years. His taxidermist is going to have to add a rollup door to his shop just to get it in the door.

When the hunter in the picture called in this bull he said he almost #### himself. He said he put all six arrows he was packing into him and backed out for the night. The next morning he brought his buddies in with him and they all brought their achery equipment, it took another 23 arrows to finish him off.

If your gonna tell it, you might as well tell it big.

BS!!!!!! No way that thing is 945 3/8!! Id say 915-925 tops!!!! We dont even shoot em when they are that small here in Utah! Try and post those small bulls somewhere else!!!!

Its a decent bull, But usually we get them in the 970 range up here in utah.

yeah, thats one of many I passed up this year. Thought maybe he'll reach that 1000 mark next year! If your going to shoot the big ones you have to pass the little ones!!!

Someone call Maniac, he might want to buy this one since he is selling all of his other trophys.

That's a good P.S. job whoever done it.

PROBABLY A 'TEXAS' BULL!!!

WE DON'T SHOOT DINKS LIKE THAT HERE IN UTARD!!!

945,WE DON'T EVEN START SCORING THEM UNTIL THEY ARE OVER 1000"+!!!

THE ONLY bobcat HOPEING YOU POST A BIG BULL NEXT TIME!!!

damn i didnt no elk could stand 30 feet tall, and have antlers with 20 foot inside spread

No way that bull is that huge.

You guys might get upset at me but I call Photoshop!

I think it's just a tiny man. The elk is probably normal. But i can't say for sure

I tokk a 2nd look at that guy, and I think hed go closer to 2000+...Might be worth looking at on public land!!!

I checked B&C's web site. I didn't see anything about a 945 bull. Something is fishy here.........:)

Heck of a nice bull though. Congrats to the hunter.

Sureshot:

LMAO that was funny. My wife is looking at me funny for laughing at a computer

That has to be a photoshop job! I know this bull was killed in the cedar country in AZ. Somebody created that background to look like WA.

I heard from my sisters husbands, brothers, cousin that this bull was actually shot with a grenade launcher, then the guy stuck the 29 arrows in it to make it look like an archery kill. The whole thing is being investigated. If this is true I hope they hang the guy.

I see a problem with this story that no one has addressed: He had his buddies shoot the bull - in my book that's party hunting - it doesn't even say if his buddies had tags or anything either - could even be poaching. By the way, I have a source that says the guy was three miles into a wilderness area on a four wheeler when he shot the bull, he shot him 5 minutes after legal shooting hours, the hunter was a democrat, and one of his buddies that went with him the next day was Ted Kennedy. Not sure if it's true...just what I heard.

Wow! I might have to put new tires on my Suzuki King Quad to get him pulled out.

Man I love the internet. I've basically made my mouse pointer finger sore tonight clicking like a madman. This finally brought me to a halt. Good thing I'm working overtime or it would be a waste...lol

I don't know why ya'all can't just let them grow up a little before shooting these small guys.

I actually know the story behind this bull. The bull was raised on a high fence ranch in Texas. The hunter who bought the bull didn't want to be accused or ragged on for shooting this bull from a high fence ranch so he had it transported to his property in Washington( he own's several thousand acer's) and shot it while it was still tranquilized because of the bulls aggresivness.

Yeah, high fence $80,000 for sure. I can tell by the background. Rich bastards screw the little guy every time.

I know for a fact it was located with spotlights.

-party hunting
-using spotlights
-possibly shot during the rut (that is BAD)
-might have been trespassing

That is not ethical. I will no longer look at this picture.

I've always heard that after they get over 8000 lbs. or so, that the meat is too tough to eat. You can't eat the horns anyhow so whats the point?

Gee whiz guys, a guy kills a once in a lifetime bull that we all can see goes 945+, and everyone cries foul. Just because it's a big bull doesn't mean he used photoshop or anything. Heck, we got bulls bigger than that behind every tree in Arizona.

Seriously though, I think I can see part of the bull's tongue. That just ruines the picture fore me, show some respect guys.

Sureshot said: I hate it when people stand inside the antlers to make them look bigger.

That was funny.

Tough luck guys. I just met the minimum bid for that rack on e-bay. I'll be hanging that on the side of the house and claiming it as mine.
