WA state record?

Sorry if this has been discussed already in prior posts. Is the bull that Bert Pence killed in WA, picture posted in big buck and bull contest section, an official state record? It has had the drying period by now. Does anyone know the final score? I am just curious, how do you get a tag to shoot branched antler elk early season? I don't see any special permits for rifle.

Is that the big bull in velvet. I'm not sure about the record but the tag was a special landowner tag to help with elk damage.

Ya, the one in velvet. They are saying it is over 440. But I dont know if it can be an official B&C with a depredation tag can it? Just curious, I have no clue.

Is that the landowner tag bull the was shot last August on private land adjoining the Hanford Nuke Site?

That is the bull that was shot out by Hanford. Shot by a guy from the lower Yakima Valley in August. The guy that shot it is sitting next to the bull in shorts and a T-shirt. Hope they had a refer van sitting close by.
