LAST EDITED ON Feb-25-06 AT 05:34PM (MST)[p]Even though elk numbers are down in the Northern Herd, there are still an INCREDIBLE amount of them. They are tearing that place apart for food. I couldn't imagine another 10,000 head but you have to see it for yourself. I highly recommend it! We definately grew accustomed to that once in a lifetime draw for a LATE season tag. It would be a shame to see the late season end for the handicap though. We saw roughly a dozen coyotes, some collared and only one lone wolf that you have to see in the photography section.
