SW Drought, are you applying in New Mexico & Arizona?

For me, I'm trying to decide on New Mexico, Arizona is probabbly out due to $$.

I know this year started out dry, but it's getting better. I live in central California. Weather that goes through here usually is headed to Az & N.M. It started raining about 6pm last night, and just stopped around noon today, thats 18 hours streight. They ( Az & New Mexico) should get hammered by tomorrow. I'm applying in both states, better to hunt a drought year then stay home.

I wish we were getting half the moisture California has gotten. It is supposed to rain today, but nothing yet. I'm still going to put in for Archery Elk...Its been 9 years since I've been drawn. Drought or not Its been too long, and who knows maybe my chances will be better this year for me.
