I talked to my wifes uncle and he told me that he drew a Diamond Mt tag this year. I talked him into putting in so that he could start getting points, because he has never killed a bull.

Crap now what????

Go hunt elk. You can either pay to play or you will have to polish up your orienteering skills to avoid private land and access the forest. Get up there and look around this summer. Although I've heard free access is difficult, it can be done.

Bobcat, I would expect nothing less and your right I can take it.

I am just as envous as the next person since I have 6 bonus points for elk and have not drawn.

Since 4 of us drew deer tags for limited entry, my wife included. That puts me on the mountian 17 days in a months time. I guess there are plenty of jobs to get after hunting is over.

That Nomad buck is safe this year. I really wanted another crack at the one I powder burned with the smoke pole last year.

With my luck, I will draw in Wyoming, Colorado, and New Mexico this year as well. Then I can start my own low budget hunting movie. I'll call it "hicks in the sticks, calling all critters".
