LAST EDITED ON May-19-06 AT 03:40PM (MST)[p]I just recently purchased a Browning 325 WSM and am needing some help. I'm going thru a divorce and as some of you know money is in short supply during this process. I realize the Accubond is probably the best choice, but will I be OK if I shoot the 180 BT?
I'm not trying to be cheap but the Accubonds are $10/box more and every penny counts for now.

Thanks for your time.

PS: Just to clarify, I bought the rifle with Birthday money and put a scope I already had on it for now. Didn't want you to think I was just throwing money around and then worrying about $10.

she won't care what you shoot her with.

How much do you plan to shoot?

Can't see where AMMO would ever be close to other cost when it comes to hunting. Even at $500 per box it would be cheap.

Hey guys. I haven't read much about about the 325 WSM. Hows the ballistics compared to the 338? Should I give my 338 to my son and buy one? I'm a fan of the other WSM's but don't know much about this one. WHATS UP?

D13er, That's funny.

I shoot alot. I guess I need to not be cheap.

Cali, I researched the 325 alot. First rifle I have bought in 20 years. It betters the 300 WM in all bullet weights and only falls short of the 338 in the 250 grain bullets (can't get 250's in 325 yet unless you reload). If you look on the Winchester sight, the ballistics for the 180 and 200 are around 3000 fps with a lot of energy to spare.

My buddy bought a 338 last year and it kicks quite abit more than my 325. The only thing I would think twice about hunting with the 325 would be the biggest toothest bears and I would probably be OK with the 220 grain bullet.

I can't wait to take it out this Fall.
