I was just up in the logan area today and drove by the willow creek zoo and snapped some photos of this monster. What do you think he will score, too bad this sucker isnt in the wild. anyways, i am trying to hone my judging skills so that i can help by buddy bag a nice one in the book cliffs this year.

I think he is going to be a monster when he is done growing. Lot of good Mass already. Go back in Sep and take some more pictures to see how big he is

LAST EDITED ON May-30-06 AT 10:29PM (MST)[p]Too soon to tell. But he looks like a pretty good bull. If he was in the wild it would all depend on summer precip. but in a zoo looks like he's got all the green grass he can eat. I'd probably put him in the mid to upper 300 class so far.

Hey bckcntrybuck,
My guess would be a little smaller than some others have thought. I woundn't think he'd be much better than a 330-340 class bull. I think it all depends on how he finishes his back end. Either way he'd be a solid bull off the Books. I would guess his first to be a little weak, possibly 14-15". I think his senconds are a little better, maybe around 16-17". Good thirds, 16" average and with some luck 18-19" swords and 8-10" fifths. With a average beam lenth of 45-50" and average mass of about 27" a side, I'd give him a possibility of making the 345 class mark with an inside spread of about 35-38".

You've drawn a good tag. Is it a rifle, bow, or muzzle tag? I had a muzzle tag last year and had a great time. If you need some general information feel free to email me and I can give you some suggestions. Here's a pic of the wierd bull I took last year. Later, fstop

My guess is this bull will be over 380 by end of July. His sheds last year were in the 390's. I believe he is 8-9 years old. They have his antlers from the past years on display.

Wow! I'd love to see his sheds. I remember seeing this bull a couple of years ago, but I don't recall how big he was. Are his sheds on display at the park? In the picture his firsts don't look that long, are his firsts bigger than 16". Thanks for the update huntin I underestimated him by 40"...Ouch. Later, fstop

I think he is pregnant!! Wintered well. How about the 2 bulls at the Bear River state park in Evanston Wy. Anybody know their score??

Women love me!! Fish shudder at the mention of my name!!
It's not the quack but the flight of the wild duck that leads the flock to destiny!!
Quack Away!!

Think some one should shoot him,
hes got the mange really bad.
It's made his rack all fuzzy.
he must be doing a lot of tree rubbing,
look at how rounded he has made the tips of his rack,
especialy the last two on each side.
